WHEEL THROWING CERAMICS: BEGINNERS

Students will learn basic throwing techniques for the potter’s wheel along with glazing. Fee includes all supplies and 25lbs of clay. Additional 25lbs of clay is $25.

PRINTMAKING

6-9pm | $120

This series covers the basic foundations of relief printmaking. Each class focuses on a specific skill set.
WEEK #1 Tools & Materials: We dig in, testing various carving gouges and block materials to find our groove.
WEEK #2 Registration & Composition: We master registration tricks and plan a multi-color composition, plus create small jigs for hand printing multiples without a press.
WEEK #3 Inks, Printing & Paper: We explore the pros and cons of different products including cleanup, safety, and cost.
WEEK #4 Create an Engaged Practice: We learn the historical context of print culture and create a list of upcoming local opportunities to engage our printmaking practice. We also explore the concept of print exchanges and allow for a dedicated block of time to finish projects.

Swing Dance
