Let make some real world Minecraft! All of the projects will revolve around the video game. Creepers, swords, and gateway's will all be created using fun art-making techniques.
WONDERFUL WEAVING

Have you ever wondered how to weave your own creations? Learn the parts of a weaving, how to warp your own loom, and create your own functional, woven bag! Artists will also explore the history of weaving and how weaving has been used through generations. Come weave away with us!
CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING
June 18-21

Come explore the ancient art of Chinese brush painting! Learn how to use special tools such as bamboo brushes and ink. Practice a variety of brushstrokes and understand how to put those brushstrokes together to create images. Create multiple paintings to take home, including a landscape painting that incorporates a frisket technique!
STITCH A SCROLL
June 25-28

Practice hand stitching skills and find out that stitches are a great way to make art. We will make a small scroll and decorate it with our stitches and fabric bits or buttons. Beginners will learn to thread a needle and do a basic running stitch; more advanced students will learn the French knot, blanket stitch whipping stitch, as well as how to stitch on a button. When you are done, you will have a totally unique piece of stitched art!
LOT’A DOTS

Not sure what to draw? All it takes is a dot to start your art. Students will dot their way into designs using a dabbing method rather than line drawings.
POP UP CARDS

Pop into the magical world of paper engineering and make some fun pop-up cards. We will make a different card each day. Personalize your cards to reflect your own ideas, while learning the basics along the way. Share your cards with special friends and make them over and over again as a unique way to greet someone on their special day.
JEWELRY JAMBOREE
