Past, Present, Future
A partnership between: Salina Art Center and City of Salina Parks and Recreation
This year’s theme, Past, Present, Future, is inspired by Julia Goodman’s installation “200 Year Present” which will be exhibited at the Art Center May 1 – July 28, 2019.
The title is borrowed from Elise Boulding, who advocated for considering one hundred years into the past and one hundred years into the future when making current political, environmental and economic decisions. Goodman’s interpretation is meant to inspire leaders who will consider the long term perspective and impact of their decisions.
