We have a great opportunities to grow artistically while taking a much needed break from school. 

Spring Break Create! Workshops for grades K-5

Let your CREATIVITY soar this Spring Break as you paint, draw, & have fun with art! Students will expand their artistic skills through interactive projects, exploring a variety of media including painting, sculpture, collage, and more.

Led by Art Center teaching artists Krista Demars and Kris Carlson.

$50 per child per session, $45 for Art Center Members

Morning Session: 9-11am

Spring Break Drawing and Design Studio

Drawing and design are fundamental skills for building and artistic practice. This workshop is great opportunity to build those skills while developing a studio practice, which encourages students to relax into the process of creating and builds confidence in their work. Students will explore a variety of technical drawing exercises to improve their observational drawing skills, and then work with the instructor one on one during studio time. All supplies included.

Grades 6-12

Monday - Friday, 10am-3pm (12-1 break for sack lunch)

10am-12pm instruction, 1-3pm studio work

Abby Crawford is a Salina South High School graduate and attended the Kansas City Art Institute. She is currently the marketing coordinator at Salina Art Center.
