Mandalas From Within

Workshop 1

February 2nd

Have you ever looked closely at a mandala and noticed all the tiny little details? There are shapes and lines and dots, curls and swirls, leaves and flowers. When you really get into it, drawing these little details can be very therapeutic.

In this workshop, we will dive into the details of how to design the inner ornamentation of a mandala. Using all the lines, shapes and swirls you can come up with to make your own unique designs, together we will explore a wide variety of possibilities.

Mandalas From the Outside In

Workshop 2

February 23rd

There is more than meets the eye when looking at these beautiful designs. Buried underneath all the details on top, are the deciding factors for how your mandala will be formed. There's a template, or rather a design, underneath the design.

In this workshop, we will go through the process of making geometric mandala templates before actually starting the final mandala in order to build a more precise design from scratch. From these templates, you will then start drawing the shapes that make up the details of your mandala.
