Classes now enrolling!

SALINA, KANSAS – The Salina Art Center, in partnership with the Salina Parks and Recreation Department, is excited to announce that the fall 2009 MultiARTs classes are now enrolling.

MultiARTS, an interdisciplinary creative learning series integrating visual arts with music, movement, and children’s literature, is an 8-week program for students ages 4, 5, and 6.  Educators Katy England and Barb Gutsch will provide fun, creative experiences while incorporating lively movement exercises!  During the last day of class, family and friends are invited to share in the fun.  Enrollment is limited to 10 students per class. All classes take place at the Salina Art Center, 242 S. Santa Fe.

Session 1: Tuesday & Thursday mornings:  9:30 – 11:00 am
Session 2: Tuesday & Thursday afternoon:  12:30 – 2:00 pm

Registration for MultiARTS is currently taking place throughthe Salina Department of Parks and Recreation.  To enroll, call 785-309-5765, or visit. http://www.salina-ks.gov. The class fee of $60includes all supplies and snacks. 

For further information regarding MulitARTs, please contact the Salina Art Center at 785-827-1431.  The Art Center is located at 242 Santa Fe, Salina, Kansas.  Business office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.  Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 5:00pm, and Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.
