New Spring Fundraiser…WarehouseLIVE

Salina, Kansas – Being held this year for the first time to replace the Salina Art Center’s long-standing spring fundraiser PIGNIC, WarehouseLIVE will take place Friday, April 24, at 7:00 pm at the Warehouse, 149 S. 4th Street, Salina. 
WarehouseLIVE, a benefit for the Salina Art Center’s education, exhibition and Cinema programs, will feature music from the 70’s and 80’s by Kansas City band, Disco Dick and the Mirror Balls.  In addition to live music, the evening will also include fabulous food, an open bar, drawings for great prizes and opportunities to sign up for a variety of theme-parties and dinners.

Prizes awarded in the drawings include:a trip to the Napa Valley for two people touring wineries and indulging in exquisite cuisine; a romantic weekend for two in Omaha complete with accommodations at the Magnolia Boutique Hotel, two tickets to Wicked and brunch at Vivace; an array of fabulous food by some of Salina’s best cooks; a variety of electronics including an Ipod Touch, a Netbook, a Flip Camera,  and a Kindle Book Reader; and an extraordinary selection of specialty scotches.
Sign-up Parties, which will be available to guests at WarehouseLIVE, include: a Costume Ball complete with a costume selected just for you;  a Band Blast where guests will rock the night away at the Warehouse with Hud Chapin, Aaron Peck, Doug Comfort and Todd Herrenbruck while enjoying pizza and beer; a Cocktail Crawl through four beautiful homes while savoring four heavenly cocktails and delectable hors d’oeurvres;  and a Fabulous Feast with a Twist – a “locavore” culinary experience featuring locally grown ingredients prepared by local chefs extraordinaire, Dave and Ann Payne and Ryan and Sara Payne.
The ticket price for Warehouse LIVE is just $50. This price includes one ticket for the prize drawings. Those that can not attend that evening may call the Salina Art Center (785.827.1431) to be added to a wait list for spaces that do not fill the night of the event.  Tickets for the prize drawings will be sold at WarehouseLIVE, but may also be purchased in advance by calling the Art Center until 5:00 pm on April 24.
