May 10, 2014 — September 28, 2014

TYTON, a fantastical, luxury toy submarine created by Wichita artist Randy Regier, will be on view at the Art Center May 10 through September 28. Accompanying TYTON will be a 20-minute radio play written and performed by local Salinans under the direction of Los Angeles television writer, Gail Lerner.

Gail Lerner‘s television writing credits, which include Happy Endings, Ugly Betty, and Will & Grace, have earned her three Emmy and one Golden Globe nominations. Her short film, Seraglio, co-written and co-directed with Colin Campbell, was nominated for a 2001 Academy Award.

Lerner is a founding member of the Unusual Suspects, a nonprofit organization that works with Los Angeles youth in under-served and at-risk environments to explore personal and social conflicts through collaborative, improvisational group-written plays.
