Interdisciplinary Arts Classes for Young Children

2010 Fall Sessions: September 14-November 16
2011 Winter Session:  January 11-March 8

Tuesdays and Thursdays
Morning session: 9:30-11:00 am
Afternoon session: 12:30-2:00 pm

MultiARTs is an 8-week program for students ages 4, 5, and 6. Children learn to use the arts for creative expression and exploration in a cooperative learning environment. For a total of 3 hours each week, experienced educators provide fun and creative activities integrating visual arts, music, literature, and creative movement encouraging social and behavioral development through guided interaction with peers. During the last day of class, family and friends are invited to join in the fun!

Enrollment is limited to 10 students per class. Fee includes all supplies and snacks.

*Please note there are no classes when USD 305 classes are not in session for both Elementary and Secondary schools.

Registration takes places beginning August 9 for the fall session and November 8 for the winter session through the City of Salina Parks and Recreation Department. To enroll, visit salina-ks.gov or call 785.309.5765.

Early enrollment will be offered at a discount to SAC members through the Art Center from July 26-August 4 for the fall session and October 25-November 3 for the winter session. Please stop by the SAC or call 827-1431 to register. Fees are $54 per child. Payment must be received at the time of enrollment.
