Considering Keats

Join writers Lori Brack and Patricia Traxler for an informal discussion and consideration of the poetry of John Keats. This program is held in conjunction with the screening of the film Bright Star at the Art Center Cinema November 27 - December 3. Brack and Traxler will provide copies and discussion of a few Keats poems, explore what in today’s world might have energized a renewed interest in Romanticism (which was itself a reaction to the Industrial Revolution), present a brief overview of the Romantic poets, and consider the poetry in the film. The discussion is FREE and open to all.
