During his Salina Art Center residency (May 4 – July 24) Jason Peters will make art with objects we use every day: plastic buckets, tires, chairs, and surprise materials found in Salina industry and agribusiness. Make two stops at the Art Center during First Thursday this month to see SAC artist-in-residence Jason Peters at work in the Warehouse and then to see his artwork in his current SAC exhibition in the SAC galleries.

Eric Monder, professor of film and English at Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS, will present a celebration of Kansas’s rich cultural history and an entertaining overview of the many talented actors and performers who hail from Kansas.
