Read the press release.
New York artist Scott Reynolds’ examines America’s predominant and proliferating suburban culture in this exhibition. Reynolds references Modernism (the cultural movement) as a means to comment on the American consumer’s increasingly conformist way of being. His sculptures combine ideas from American history, architecture, pop culture, psychology, religion, and sex into three-dimensional line drawings constructed with fabric, wood, and air.
