Children and accompanying adults make art together in these intergenerational sessions held in the ARTery. With a focus on the art of India, explore a variety of processes and experiment with tools and materials under the guidance of art teacher Anne Nettleton. Second Sundays takes a break for the summer starting in June and will resume in September.

Grandma Layton's Art Cure: Opening your Inner Eye with Blind Contour

Join Lucas artist Erika Nelson for an evening of fun and creativity! Learn about the life and art of Elizabeth "Grandma" Layton, and create a sketchbook filled with a series of drawings in graphite, pen, colored pencil, or an art media of your choice. The ARTery, free and open during regular gallery hours, is a great place for creative minds to wander, invent, and learn. Visitors can explore a variety of activities, with at least one directly relating to the current exhibition.
