Ester Partegás, whose work Things You Don’t Like is featured in The Paper Sculpture Show, created this project called The Most Important Things for the Smoky Hill River Festival. Neon artist Fred Elliott constructed the sign from Partegás’ design. The pink neon sign was over 34’ long and was located on the east bank of the river by the Bicentennial Center bridge.
