Ernesto Pujol is an installation artist based in New York. Born in Havana, Cuba, he grew up in San Juan and did undergraduate work in humanities and painting at the University of Puerto Rico. Pujol did graduate work in art therapy at Pratt Institute and media theory at Hunter College and has received several prestigious awards, including the Joan Mitchell Foundation Fellowship, Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, and the Cintas Foundation Visual Arts Fellowship. He has exhibited widely in the United States and Europe.
