| Read the press release. Mel Ziegler's interactive project, Breathe In Breathe Out, started in the Art Center's reception gallery, then moved to the Smoky Hill River Festival where over 2000 people contributed their breath over the course of one rainy June weekend. It then returned to the Art Center, where it will remain until September 4, 2005. All gallery-goers are encouraged to make a personal contribution to Breathe In Breathe Out. Ziegler plans to return to Salina during the summer to transport the air, via smaller tanks, to various locations in order to fill tires, balls, and any other pragmatic item that could benefit from "community breath."
